Terms & Conditions
Refund & Cancellation Policy:
Please note that because Prescott Reiki Retreats are limited to a small number of attendees, to allow for a more personable, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.
Deposit & Reservations:
Reserve your spot with a $200 deposit per person. Some longer retreats require a $500 deposit. The deposit is non-refundable, though in many instances it can be transferred as credit to another retreat. Placing a deposit on a retreat confirms that you are in agreement with these Terms and Conditions.
Full payment is due 60 days prior to the start date of the retreat, unless stated otherwise for your specific retreat.
If YOU cancel your reservation:
If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. There will be no refunds or discounts for:
We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers and hotels. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. But to protect yourself, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
If you cancel 90 days or more prior to the start of the Reiki retreat: You receive a refund of the balance paid and credit for the deposit toward another Prescott Reiki retreat within 12 months from the cancellation date.
If you cancel 31- 90 days prior to the start of the Reiki retreat: You receive 50% credit of the cost of the full retreat toward another Prescott Reiki retreat within 12 months and will forfeit the remainder.
If you cancel 0 - 30 days prior to the start of the Reiki retreat: No refunds or credits will be given.
To officially cancel, you must send an email to Prescott Reiki Retreats stating that you wish to cancel to firstname.lastname@example.org
If WE postpone/cancel a retreat:
Cancellation due to external circumstances:
If we are forced to postpone or cancel your retreat, due to a significant event that makes it infeasible to operate the retreat as planned (including, but not limited to, natural disasters, manmade disasters, COVID-19, disease, travel restrictions, etc.) we will make every effort to refund any balance payments made and issue a credit for the non-refundable deposit portion of your payment to be applied to another Prescott Reiki retreat within a year.
In some circumstances, we will have incurred non-refundable costs from our venues and travel providers. In those cases, we will offer credit toward a future Prescott Reiki retreat that is the equivalent value of the credit that Prescott Reiki receives from our travel providers.
We will not be responsible for any refund for non-refundable airline tickets or for any airline tickets purchased by the passenger directly from an airline or travel agent.
Cancellation due to too few participants:
We have never had to cancel a retreat due to too few participants, however, if we do cancel a retreat due to low attendance, we will refund to you all deposits and any payments you have paid to us.
In all cases of Prescott Reiki Retreats canceling or postponing a retreat, we will not be able to compensate you for any airfare or associated travel costs incurred in connection with the retreat. Some retreats (e.g. Costa Rica) require the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets, in addition to the retreat price. In those cases, once airline tickets are issued they are subject to the carrier’s refund policy; non-refundable airline ticket fees (which may be up to 100% of the ticket value) may apply. We highly recommend travel insurance to cover these risks.
The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase cancellation/interruption insurance. Travel Insurance can protect you in case:
• You cancel your participation in the Reiki retreat
• The retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, or not enough participants to run the trip
• Lost baggage or personal items
• Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
Changes to travel:
We will make every effort to operate all retreats as advertised. We reserve the right to alter or cancel the retreat or make reasonable substitutions as deemed necessary. In the event of cancellation, our liability, if any, shall be limited to and liquidated by a refund or credit to each prospective participant.
Why would my payment be non-refundable or partially refundable?
Our vendor(s) -- campsites, Airbnb owners, property owners -- require upfront commitments that we must adhere to. When Prescott Reiki offers a package to you we have to ensure, through good-faith payments, that you will attend the events. This is the only way our vendors will take us seriously, and will want to help us provide the best experiences possible to our guests.
Payment Plans: Refund/cancellation policy is as stated above.
Updating Terms & Conditions:
Prescott Reiki reserves the right to update and/or alter these Terms & Conditions at any time. Current information can always be found on www.prescottreiki.com/terms-conditions and any updates and/or changes will supersede any previous versions.
Payment Plan Policy:
The first payment is a non-refundable deposit paid online to reserve your spot at a retreat.
You will receive a reminder by email for the final balance within 8 weeks from Event start date. If second payment is not made we reserve the right to open your spot to other attendees.
Refund policy link is attached to your email when you check out. It is your responsibility to read the refund policy and the above terms carefully.
