I healed naturally from Multiple Sclerosis & Lupus

I help people with chronic conditions go from exhausted and overwhelmed to clearer, steadier, and supported.

After 27 years living with Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, several other autoimmune conditions and severe autoimmune symptoms — including 3 years on hospice and palliative care — I found my way back to health through nutrition, nervous system support, and holistic practices.

Now, I help others find their way back too.

My Story

For 27 years, I lived with severe symptoms from Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, and other autoimmune-related challenges. My body felt unpredictable, and over time my world became smaller and smaller as my health declined.

I had a service dog for mobility and relied on canes, walkers, and wheelchairs just to get through daily life. I had in-home caregivers and needed help with nearly every activity of daily living — bathing, dressing, preparing meals, grocery shopping, and more. At 42, I had a stroke with left side paralysis. I worked with a local rehab facility to regain what I lost from the stroke, along with several M.S. relapses that caused additional damage.

My cognitive function was also affected. Simple conversations, reading, and comprehension were often a struggle. I could no longer drive, function, or participate in life the way I once had.

For a long time, it felt like I was existing rather than truly living.

I was on hospice and palliative care for three years and could not walk without assistance.

In 2018, I went to see a nutritionist who carefully looked at my diet and lifestyle. After implementing the changes we discussed, I gradually began noticing improvements. As my strength and stability increased, I reduced medications under medical guidance and began incorporating natural and holistic modalities to support my overall wellbeing.

I healed naturally from Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus.

I was already a Reiki practitioner and meditation teacher, but this experience deepened my understanding of how essential nervous system support, nutrition, and holistic practices are when the body is under significant stress. None of my medical doctors ever asked me about diet and nutrition.

That journey changed the direction of my life.

Where I Am Now

Today, I have been well for 8 years — what a wonderful life.

The photos of me hiking in Sedona in 2022 are incredible to me because up until 2018 I could not walk unaided — not without a cane, walker, wheelchair, or my service dog — let alone hike.

I had in-home caregivers, was on hospice and palliative care, and struggled cognitively. Simple conversations, reading, and comprehension were daily challenges. I couldn’t drive, prepare meals, or socialize much.

Now I help people with chronic conditions go from exhausted and overwhelmed to clearer, steadier, and supported. I drive, hike, read, and write monthly editorials for Prescott Healthy Living Magazine. I organize social events and love bringing people together — my friends will tell you I love to talk.

I now live a life I never dreamed would be possible. My life is full of love, music, dancing, joy, and laughter. I am so grateful.

My Work

I am a healing practitioner, a Reiki Master Teacher, and a survivor of Lupus and Multiple Sclerosis. My personal journey to wellness led me to embrace natural healing modalities, which I now share with my clients.

With a holistic approach, I offer:

  • Reiki treatments

  • Nutritional coaching

  • Meditation practices

to support healing of the mind, body, and spirit.

As a Reiki Master, I specialize in PTSD and trauma release — both physical and emotional — and I am highly skilled in enhancing the flow of life force energy for your wellbeing, health, and vitality.

I support others navigating chronic and unpredictable symptoms through practices that support the mind, body, and nervous system.

Why I Do This

I know what it feels like to search for steadiness again.

Not because everyone’s path will look the same as mine, but because I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your body no longer behaves in ways you can rely on.

I have walked this path to wellness and would be honored to share it with you and help you find your way.

If you want to know more about how I got my life back, just reach out to me.
I would love to talk with you!
